Compiling 1.8.5 from source - sigc++-1.2 not found on Suse 10.1

Hi, When I execute ./configure I get the following error: checking for SIGC... configure: error: Package requirements (sigc++-1.2) were not met: No package 'sigc++-1.2' found Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix. Alternatively, you may set the environment variables SIGC_CFLAGS and SIGC_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details. When a look in the software manager in Yast this version of sigc is not present, just libsigc++2. Can anyone tell me how to install sigc++-1.2?
