Joe,
I can vouch for the the 5300 patch, however I have only tested it via
bluetooth.
Take a look at the following, tell me if you need more. 5300 owners -
did I leave something out?

What works:
Phonebook, wallpaper (including camera), ringers, sounds, calendar,
call history, SMS. Phone does not support memos and has no SD card.
MP3s go in the "ringers" folder, not the MP3 folder.

Bluetooth connection works well.
Notes
No transfer problems have been reported on the developer's list.
