There are a lot of things the product just doesn't do for everyone.  With the 2 phones I've tried, the only thing I can reliable get is my phone book - which to me, is pretty damn important.  I've done it both directions and it is a lifesaver.   I am getting a new LG shortly and will test that as well.

Subject: [BitPim-user] Fw: Samsung SCH-U750 (Alias 2) error updating ringtones and calendar

I have Bitpim v 1.07 loaded on Windows Vistaand I am trying to import my ringtones and calendar into my Alias2 phone but I am having problems.  I am using a USB cable that I bought with my phone.  I have a connection and I have already successfully imported my notes.  I have set the phone to USB Modem Mode like it says in the Bitpim notes section.  I also have made sure that my ringtones were less than 100kb.  When I try to import the ringtones I get the following error that pops up on the screen.
 BitPim version: 1.0.7-official
An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.
