I am a new subscriber to the user mailing list, and I am eager to become an actual user of a future version of BitPim that supports the Pantech Jest TXT8040VW. I did not know that Verizon was not supporting a direct transfer of files between phne and computer with the included USB cable. If you include a USB cable, I think a reasonable person would presume that you could transfer files directly that way. But I can understand why Verizon wants to make it difficult--so they can force you to transfer via data or text usage. A big thank you to all the developers for this important program. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Sprint What will you do first with EVO, the first 4G phone?
