I have the latest (1.07) Bitpim running on a windows xp box. I can see my phone and browse the filesystem in filesystem mode. I understand that my phone is not supported. However I scroogled around for a while and came up with some code that apparently does the job of phonebook backup/reading contacts off the phone @ http://bitpim.sourcearchive.com/documentation/1.0.7plus-pdfsg1-1/com__lglx260_8py-source.html Can someone point me in the right direction to help me figure out how to get that code into my copy of bitpim? And will that code (maybe a dev question?) add a new phone type under the phone selection dropdown menus or require me to force it into vx4400 mode (??) or will it just support the phonebook options for my phone? I started digging through the DEV archives, but I have apparently found the proverbial 'sweet spot' of ignorance where I dont know enough to ask this question w/o sounding like a moron and dont know where to begin to educate myself out of the knowledge hole i'm in... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Start uncovering the many advantages of virtual appliances and start using them to simplify application deployment and accelerate your shift to cloud computing http://p.sf.net/sfu/novell-sfdev2dev _______________________________________________ BitPim-user mailing list [email protected] Unsubscribe or change options at https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/bitpim-user There are several hundred people on this list.
