Is there a LGENV3 SMS update for Mac OS

I'm using a MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.4 and BitPim 1.0.7 (24 Jan 2010) from bitpim.org. Like several others, I am unable to transfer SMS history from my phone to computer. A fix/build for Linux and Windows was created to correct this problem. Has a fix been created for the Mac version of BitPim?
