File System Question

I switched to Sprint's HTC Mogul (Actually the HTC Titan with software
mods) and can't seem to connect with BitPim at all.  ActiveSync does,
however (running on WinXP Pro in a window on my linux) connect and work
just fine.  So now I know that port permissions are fine and the
hardware communication is happening.  But no connection with BitPim,
even using the filesystem option.  Anyone else have any experience with
this phone?
