install .dll?

Hey gang, I'm trying to download and install BitPim onto my new system. I can download fine, and go through the install process without errors, but when I try to open BitPim, I get an error reading:



This application has failed to start because MSVCP71.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.


I uninstalled BitPim using the control panel, re-downloaded and re-installed, and get the same error. Is there an error in the download, or am I doing something wrong? 


I'm running Windows XP, and I'm hoping to transfer with my Pantech Jest - not a supported phone, I know, but since the interface is so similar to my old LG Chocolate II, I'm hoping the OSs are close enough to make it work.
