I'm transferring phonebooks between two Samsung SPH-A900's using a USB cable (Samsung OEM) and BitPim 1.0.7 running on Windows XP. Copying the phonebook from the old phone works just fine, but uploading it to the new phone results in: 1) the first phone number, as shown in BitPim, doesn't appear on the new phone, 2) contacts with only one phone number don't show up on the phone at all, and 3) the email field isn't showing up on the new phone (and contacts with only one phone number + email don't show up). The log shows all of the phonebook entires being transferred, and I'm getting no errors. On at least one occasion (perhaps all), the phone rebooted at the end of the transfer: BitPim's status bar reported transferring the last name (matching the last log entry), hung there, no log entries for several seconds, then disconnect and detection log events. Specific steps: download phonebook from old phone (replacing entires in BitPim), connect new phone, upload (replacing entries in new phone). This appears to be repeatable. I welcome your wisdom. -- Sam ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The ultimate all-in-one performance toolkit: Intel(R) Parallel Studio XE: Pinpoint memory and threading errors before they happen.
