LG VX 8600 phonebook transfer FROM phone

Current status:
LG VX8600 is recognised by BitPim upon connection.

Current issue:
Upon requesting 'get data from phone' and checking 'phonebook', process fails 
with 'phonebook is busy' message. Phone at time of attempted transfer is on 
usual screen presented when opening phone; no menus are selected; phone 
clamshell is usually closed. Contacts list is most emphatically not in use at 
time of attempted transfer. Phone call setting is set to USB. All other transfer 
activities work fine.

I've attached a zip file of both logs and de-bugging recorder.

I might add that I do use some fields in Contacts to store addresses (such as 
e-mail1 etc). I have also noticed in the past that if I have edited the contacts 
list within BitPim and made entries under headings that don't seem to have a 
corresponding VX8600 heading it causes a transfer issue. Is there any way to 
turn off Bitpim entry fields for which any particular phone has no heading or 
capability for?
