Formation of Kannel Foundation proposed

Following a successful Kannel conference in Cambridge (UK) the Kannel Foundation Proposal has been published on the Kannel site for feedback from the active developer's community who were unable to attend the conference. The Kannel Foundation is to be established to help further the already successful Kannel Open Source WAP & SMS Gateway. We hope that you share our enthusiasm and belief that establishing the Foundation as an independent body will lead to the continued success of the project. The proposal is available on the Kannel web site, http://www.kannel.org/. Please take the time to read it and feedback your comments to the [email protected] mailing list by 14th June. Feedback will be processed and assuming there are no radical changes a final decision will be made on 28th June.
