I agree with Arbel regarding Windoze, however, sometimes I have to work with
it. I have just built Kannel 1.2.0 by downloading the source and compiling
under the latest version of Cygwin and it worked first time giving a set of
executables for Kannel.

If you can go to a Unix / Linux platform and run it there I'd recommend it,
but if not don't feel you have to stick with the binary distribution of the
Cygwin port, which is a little long in the tooth now.
