ctrl+C with cygwin port of kannel

Hello,
I am using the cygwin port of kannel.
I wanted to know how to terminate the bearerbox application.  The ctrl+c
does not
seem to reach teh signal handler of the bearerbox.

Whereas, the smsbox is able to handle the termination interrupt correctly.
Is this a problem only
with the cygwin port?   any help on this issue?
