[RFC] Public MMSC Testing

Hi list,

as I have announced for some time. We have a MMSC running here at
Wapme based on Kannel sources.

I'd like to give all Kannel developers the opportunity to test this
MMSC with the following WAP/MMS profile:

IP network connectivity:
  Type: GSM/CSD
  NAS Dial-In MSISDN: +49211239400
  Auth-Type: PAP
  Username: kannel
  Password: kannel
  Call-Type: analogue
  Call-Speed: 9600

WAP gateway: 
  IP: 192.168.126.2

MMSC home: 
  URL: http://localhost:8080/sendmms

or you if you have a Ericsson or Nokia MMS capable phone, send a SMS
message with the text "MMS" to our Siemens M20 GSM Modem at MSISDN
+491737055251 and you will receive an MMS OTA configuration via SMS.

Some explanation about the MMSC setup:

  * the NAS is a Ascend MAX2000 with 30 analogue dial-in modems 
  * RADIUS authentication is done via GNU-RADIUS.
  * RADIUS accounting is proxied to Kannel's wapbox (running a RADIUS
proxy thread)
  * MSISDN provisioning inside HTTP headers is done via the RADIUS
acct proxy
  * MMSC accepts *only* MSISDN numbers as destinations
  * use a + prefix notation for international numbers (ie. +49173...)
  * access will be granted for a limited period only

We have successfully tested the following devices:

  * Nokia 7650 
  * Ericsson T68i
  * Ericsson P800
  * Siemens S55

if you have any other device, please do test! ie. by sending yourself
an MMS.
