But we want to do "more" then simply chaining the daemon process into a wrapper. We also do log file snapshotting in case of failure. So admins can check what caused the crash of the daemon process. Another things is that we call up another Kannel that has GSM modems connected and send alerts to the operational crew to let them know that Kannel is "restarting" in some sence.
