Kannel Gateway in Realtime

Hi.

I m new to Kannel gateway..So need to get some idea about the sms.

What i know mobile device send a sms to smsc which goes to gateway and then gateway pass sms to destination mobile device via smsc of destination number..

I just want to confirm is it right????

If its right then i have other queries related to gateway..

I have to send sms via pc to a mobile device (realtime moblie number).
Can i use Kannel gateway to send sms to realtime devices..
if its possible then can u please let me know how and what other configuration do i need..
