Can you talk to the mobile with a terminal program like
minicom?

Hello,

I have just buy a Wavecom Fastrack M1206B modem, 
but kannel doesn't arrive to detect him :
[5] DEBUG: AT2[test]: --> AT^M

2003-12-09 18:28:58 [5] ERROR: AT2[test]: no answer from modem
2003-12-09 18:28:58 [5] ERROR: AT2[test]: Opening failed. Terminating
2003-12-09 18:28:58 [5] INFO: AT2[test]: closing device

Before i used an ericsson F221m who after some problems works fine.
Someone can help me ?

This is my modem configuration file

id = wavecom
name = Wavecom
detect-string2 = "WAVECOM"
detect-string = "FASTRACK M1206B"
need-sleep = true
speed = 115200
