I take the subject for the message to send to my mobile. If the subject has
an accentuated characters, I get this on my exim :

Subject: =?iso-8859-1?Q?0792943543=3Atest_=E0vec_l=27accent?=

I did not try to resolve this for now.

I send email to a small server with an ISDN card. There I have a postfix
server
setup that automatically calls sms_client. I don't know about accentuated
characters - it's a good question. I'm not sure which characterset
sms_client
expects everything to be in.
