sysmon sending email issue

On OpenBSD running local opensmtpd, the following message is appearing
in the maillog:

smtp failed-command command="DATA" result="550 5.7.1 Delivery not
authorized, message refused: Message is not RFC 2822 compliant"

Is there a plan to fix sysmon sending non-RFC2822 compliant email?
