Are you running a BeOS install with a modified kernel (AMD/P4 "hack"), 
if so, you probably don't have the 5.0.1 update installed, and can't, 
because it replaces the kernel.  So, you need to find someone who has a 
non-modified system with the 5.0.1 update installed, and get a copy of 
their libnet.so, or, see if you can extract just the libnet.so file from 
the update.
