Calendar blocks Thunderbird

Hello Is there a special point in blocking thunderbird at syncing calendars, or will there be a Version that wont do that in the Future? I am using: -Thunderbird 15.0.1 -Lightning 1.7 -Kubuntu 12.04 LTS 3.2.0-32 PAE -Zotac ZBox Atom dual Core with 4GB of RAM Only thunderbird is blocked and using 25% CPU everything else works fine.
