Thank you, Anton. I missed this point before your highlighting.

I guess our MozLDAP was not compiled with Cyrus SASL support. A side proof is that I didn't found any dynamic library file related to this:
===============================================
denalic01:/ <121> find . -name "*sasl*"
denalic01:/ <122>
===============================================
I will consult OS team about this issue.

By the way, could you point to me the location in the source code that ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_ext_s() returns LDAP_SUCCESS when it can't find any SASL library?

Thanks,
