XSLT Persistent Storage

Now that Firefox support persistent storage on the browser are there
any plans to support at least read only extension functions to access
the persistent storage while processing inside XSLT?

I see no reason the presistent store cannot be considered as merely an
external xml file independent of how it is actually being stored with
is most likely in some "database".

By the way I have given no thought to what this actually entails on
your end to support such a concept.
