java.lang.ArrayIndex... error, have JVM, what next?

I am running Netscape 7 on a Mac running OS 9.2. When visiting a
certain website, I get the error:
"Java.Lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException 0 >= 0".

Everything I can find about this error has to do with the Java Virtual
Machine plugin, which I do have.

Any suggestions? 

Also can you tell me if I upgrade from 7 to 7.1, might it fix this
problem? Will Netscape retain all of my cookies and preferences if I
upgrade?
