Moz 1.5 Lost Settings

I recently upgraded from 1.4 to 1.5.  When I installed the new version, 
it clobbered my settings and bookmarks. I tried re-installing 1.5 and 
even tried going back to 1.4 and get similar problems. Specifically, 
after installing, it asks to migrate old settings which it does 
successfully. However after quitting and restarting Moz, all bookmarks 
are gone and settings changed. In fact, I can no longer drag URLs to the 
Personal Toolbar and even if I manually recreate a "Personal Toolbar 
Folder" in Bookmarks, it will not work. I have tried importing 
bookmarks, manually creating bookmarks, using the Bookmarks > Save 
Bookmark menu all with same result .. after restart, all bookmarks are 
deleted and any settings are gone. I even tried deleting all profiles.

Anyone else run into this same problem or know what is going on here. Thanx.
