I downloaded SM 1.1.8 and created a profile with Mail directory so can see what files you speak of. Is the Sent function the only issue? What occurs when you go into Properties, Copies & Folders, Place a copy in Sent Folder and uncheck place a copy, close SM, move Sent file elsewhere, and check place a copy again.
