OK, I don't use Gnome (of any flavor) on any of my machines -- I don't like Gnome (or KDE either). I use a very vanila fvwm2 setup (with fvwm in 'MWM' compatibility mode (yes, this dates me to the days of DECWindows/Motif, but it is what I like).
