I would guess that the sites that don't work use autocomplete=3D"off" in
their HTML. Their is a bookmarklet to let you save the info anyway
(http://www.squarefree.com/bookmarklets/forms.html#remember_password) it
should work in Firefox, too, but I didn't test.
