The RAM footprint is better with Mozilla if you use both , the browser 
and mail.

There are many negative things for me in FF:
Bad Password Manager, no search through the URL Bar (with dropdown), 
popup blocking note above the page content and not in the status bar,.....

I can't see a reason to use firefox...
