To me it's a matter of philosophy. I dislike the MS all-in-one megalith application philosophy, where it can sometimes be difficult to separate things apart. For instance, if I click on a link in Opera, I don't want to pull up Opera's e-mail program that I haven't set up. I want it to pull up maybe News Rover's e-mail program. I certainly don't want to pull up OE. Sure Mozilla can program this better - but I'd rather see them separate.
