Thanks for your help Daniel,
If this gets posted on the group then I did it right.  If it turns out 
to be an email, then I messed it up again.  I just wish that thunderbird 
had a "post to newsgroup" option the as does Outlook Express, then I 
would know for sure that the message is going to be posted to the newsgroup.
