Thunderbird causing legal problems

Yes, you read that right. This festering pile of @#$%@#$ of an email
program in less than five minutes just royally screwed up my life.
After having routinely changed the password on my college email account,
instead of doing what a reasonable email client does under the
circumstances, namely perhaps asking me if my password has changed after
at most, two failed logins, Thunderbird cheerfully spammed the server a
total of at LEAST 30 (I lost count by then, it may have been as high as
70) times with rapid login requests with the old password before it
glibly gave me the option to change it. By then the main server at my
college had already blocked my IP and automatically filed an incident
report with my ISP.. now it looks like I'm going to lose my cable
account, and face disciplinary action at my school because this
worthless piece of junk can't handle something as simplistic as a CHANGE
IN @#%@%@#%ING EMAIL PASSWORD!!!

that's IT.. from now on I might as well use OUTLOOK, it SUCKS LESS THAN
THUNDERBIRD DOES!!

thank you, that is all.
