Or ....

Feeling brave, can try renaming PREF.JS in the profile directory to
PREFS.BAK and then copy:

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\defaults\pref\mailnews.js

to prefs.js

mailnews.js is the default prefs.js file and what is used on first install.

Or, can simply restart TB after renaming prefs.js .. a new prefs.js file
will be built from mailnews.js
