The problem is that no one is going to design new software for old 
hardware.  Especially as the price of a new computer continues to drop 
every year. If you're using a broadband connection (or considering it) 
you should definitely updgrade your hardware.  You can pop in a new 
motherbird with a faster chip and RAM for under $200.
