You're onto something there. Safe mode is a bust (Isn't it supposed to start 
without extensions? Wouldn't the Yahoo toolbar be considered an extension?) 
it crashes whether or not the mode is safe. Creating a new profile is 
another matter - I created a new profile (which also happens to start 
without the Yahoo toolbar), and viola - no more crashes.
