If you are using a new enough version of Windows, your chooser widget
will have quick links on the side, like "Desktop," "My Documents," and
so on.  Take advantage of it.  Either learn to like having "My
Documents" as your "Always Start Here" option (and so click it each time
the widget appears), or stick a folder shortcut in there.  Then with
three clicks, which can happen quite fast with the muscle-memory bonus,
you'll be in a uniform starting location.
