If you want to install Netscape 6.2.3 (just released to fix a security hole) you'll need to set your windows temporary directory somewhere that does not have a non-ascii character in the path. Unless you explicitly change it the default location usually includes your XP profile name, and those often have local characters in them (for example, guessing from your e-mail your XP account might be François). One way to change the temp directory location is to set the environment variable TMP or TEMP to a valid path (the directory must exist). -Dan Veditz
