1) no (security) extensions.  Just two add-ons.  Neither of which are 
security related.

2) not a download, just a regular webpage.

I thought of asking you how either of them would be able to mess with 
/displaying/ the HTTP status code, but I don't think you would know either 
...

Personally I think its a waste of good money to ditch something that still 
does everything I need it for just because there is something newer.   Oh 
well, the sign of the bling-bling/gadget generation, amirite ?   :-)
