I have no issues with downloads as I simply let it put it in the downloads folder.
My belief is that the download folder should be just that, the folder that is used to put your downloads. You review them and decide if
they are worth it and then do something with them.
And I use a separate ftp Filezilla program to ftp files to my website. So I wouldn't know
