Flock is a Mozilla-based web broser. The Senior Graphic/Web Designer
will develop and refine visual design concepts, present his/her work
independently, participate in critiques, project manage independently,
and contribute toward the marketing team's goals of creating engaging
and memorable impressions of boldness, authenticity, passion, and care
that we present to the world in everything we do.

The ideal candidate will be highly ambitious and will have strong
visual design skills, design research skills, an innovative approach
that breeds new thinking, a strong understanding of graphic design
(type, color, layout, composition, motion graphics), a current
understanding of the Web, and understanding of Web technology, and an
ability to work collaboratively. Common project types are executive-
level presentations, mock-ups, websites, logos, web graphics, and
other custom projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:
·	Create elegant, sophisticated designs for executive-level
presentations.
·	Create mock-ups of current and future logos, collateral, web
creative using Photoshop.
·	Edit/add content to existing websites.
·	Work closely with Engineering, Marketing Team and CEO.

·	Well organized and able to balance multiple simultaneous projects.
·	Self-motivated, a natural problem-solver, and a good communicator
both verbally and in writing
·	Must be comfortable following direction and implementing changes
based on constructive criticism, thrive on multidisciplinary teams,
and be able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
·	A blended background of in-house and agency experience is a plus

Qualifications:
·	BA/BS degree in graphic design, or related field.
·	Advanced skill in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & Flash
Actionscript.
·	Web 2.0 skills (Ajax, PHP, etc).
·	Experience with website design and architecture. Comfortable with
HTML and CSS.
·	Knowledge of media software packages a big plus (video editing,
audio editing, etc).
·	Understanding and strong appreciation for traditional graphic
design; color theory, typography and layout
·	Advertising background a plus; understanding of marketing messaging
and communication is key
