The Senior Essbase Systems Analyst will be responsible for developing,
managing, and maintaining the Corporate Planning & Analysis Essbase
cubes for the Company. S/he will be responsible for the accuracy and
accumulation of financial information for reporting and management
decision-making. The Analyst will also be responsible for the
consolidation of the worldwide budget and forecasts, including
supporting the creation of the appropriate Essbase structure to
support management initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

-	Serve as System Administrator for Hyperion Essbase applications
including maintaining and creating processes
-	Validate data integrity and ensure the appropriate application links
are in place between Essbase and Peoplesoft, GL, and other enterprise
data sources
-	Manage the weekly and monthly data load into Essbase and systems
that interface with Essbase
-	Prepare and maintain various Essbase data loading templates for
loading forecast and budget
-	Consolidate Forecast and Budget and prepare cubes for each new
planning cycle and fiscal year
-	Coordinate and implement monthly Essbase structural changes
-	Evaluate current architecture and processes to increase timeliness,
efficiency, and accuracy of reporting, as well as provide road map to
future system and process enhancements
-	Assist in the development, implementation, testing and documentation
of processes, cubes, and scripts related to Hyperion Essbase and Data
Warehousing initiatives
-	Implement and develop new tools such as Hyperion Planning and web-
based analytical tools
-	Provide technical and financial support; interface heavily with the
finance organizations across the globe and provide training
-	Coordinate with IT to schedule production loads and application
maintenance

Candidate Qualifications
-	Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting
-	5 to 10 years of recent Essbase experience in budgeting and
forecasting in multinational companies; high tech industry preferred
Technical Skills/Knowledge
-	Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-	Strong knowledge of Calc scripts, Partitioning, Database outline
design/optimization, Esscmds/Maxl statements, and Load rules.
Preferred experience in Hyperion Analyzer, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion
Pillar, SQL, Visual Basic
-	Systems proficiency in Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Enterprise and
Oracle as well spreadsheets.  Well developed problem-solving
capabilities and strong organizational skills
-	Possesses strong analytical skills and understands the consolidating
financial data for a business with multi-location facilities
-	Exhibits the change agent mindset and leadership characteristics to
support the business transformation
-	Knowledge of system implementation and data conversion a plus
