Hello localizers, As many of you have noticed - and asked me about - Focus browsers (so, both iOS and Android) have been on a hiatus for a while now. There have been no new strings, as active development has halted. In fact, there have been very few fixes to the bugs you’ve filed - as the projects have been given lower priority. We have also not been adding new locales since the end of 2018, as I’ve mentioned a few times in the past in my comms here. We have recently realized that we can't add locales that had started work at one point, nor fix typos - and this wasn't clear until very recently. This is why the projects were still enabled in Pontoon. We don't currently have plans for updates to Firefox Focus that will require input from localizers. We will communicate proactively if these plans change. To avoid distraction and confusion, we are disabling Focus in Pontoon for the time being. Both Focus browsers will continue to be available with your localizations in the corresponding stores. Please let me know if you have any questions. We realize this can represent a frustrating situation, and we’ll keep you updated if/when this situation evolves. And thanks as always for your patience, and all your hard work! -- Delphine _______________________________________________ dev-l10n mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/dev-l10n
