Re: Issues with imported strings

The string was imported 6 months ago during the migration from an
existing DTD file to Fluent. The source file doesn't exist anymore,
but it's here

If your locale was not on Pontoon, some strings will result as
imported at the time the project was set up (~ 3 years ago for pt-BR).

The Mercurial repository is the source of truth. What's in the
repository ships in the product (i.e. that string was shipping in
Firefox), and that's reflected in Pontoon by the string being
approved.
Having this content not being in an approved state goes against that very model.

Also consider that, over time, we migrated over 3 thousand strings,
multiplied by over 100 languages. It doesn't make sense to ask every
team to go through them, given that they were already approved in the
first place.

Having said that, there is a bug on file to be able to filter imported
strings in Pontoon and make them easier to find
