Allow me to add that I test mplayerplug-in regularly (and especially with Apple
trailers) and I'd report any problems immediately.

ATM, there are two problems, and they are both mplayer related:
ARGB in mov can't be shown (no trailer atm)
If the .mov has an odd width, there is a black border visible at the right:
