I guess.  I wish you luck, but I doubt they'll be motivated to fix it.

You can also point them to

as another such movie "in the wild" if they need evidence people actually 
do this crazy nonsense.

I really hope you can get them to fix it.  You could also file a bug 
against Totem, Gstreamer, and/or Xine to see if those guys can get it 
fixed.
