Embedded files play twice

Hi,

 

I've been trying to find a solution  for this and have searched the FAQ,
mailing list and web and have not found anything short of "Upgrade to
Mozilla 1.1" or other people asking about it without any usable
solution.

 

I'm currently using Firefox 2.0.0.11, mplayerplug-ing 3.50 and mplayer
1.0rc2-p24929-r1 on Gentoo and have two web pages that embed audio when
specific conditions are met. My problem is that the audio file always
places twice and I also end up with defunct mplayer instances.

 

Is there a solution for either (or both) of these problems?
