Hi,

	Setup:

		FreeBSD 5.5-STABLE as of Jan 23, 2007
		Firefox from FreeBSD ports, 2.0.0.14
		Mplayer from FreeBSD ports
			Ports version : 0.99.11_5
			Mplayer header: MPlayer 1.0rc2-3.4.2 (C) 2000-2007 MPlayer Team

		Header from "mplayer":

			CPU: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 Mobile CPU 1.70GHz (Family: 15, Model: 2, Stepping: 4)
			CPUflags:  MMX: 1 MMX2: 1 3DNow: 0 3DNow2: 0 SSE: 1 SSE2: 1
			Compiled with runtime CPU detection.

		Sample header playing an mp3:

			==========================================================================
			Opening audio decoder: [mp3lib] MPEG layer-2, layer-3
			AUDIO: 44100 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 128.0 kbit/9.07% (ratio: 16000->176400)
			Selected audio codec: [mp3] afm: mp3lib (mp3lib MPEG layer-2, layer-3)
			==========================================================================
			AO: [oss] 44100Hz 2ch s16le (2 bytes per sample)
			Video: no video
			Starting playback...

	When I run the tests at http://fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger/test.html I see the :

		Quicktime (old codec): Looks like Starwars, no audio
		AVI (divx) : Nightmare before X-mas?, no audio
		AVI (radius cinepak): Lion King?, no audio
		MPEG: Red's nightmare, no audio
		FLI: Invisible juggler?, no audio

	but when I get to Audio:

		MIDI: Asks for a new plugin
		MP3: Buffer, playing, connecting, stopped in fairly short order
		OGG: Same as MP3
		MPEG-url file: Same as MP3
		WAV: Same as MP3
		Basic audio: Same as MP3
		Soundtracker: Same as MP3
		PSID: Asks for a new plugin
		YM: Asks for a new plugin

	Is there a way to find out why I'm not getting any sound? I use mplayer
constantly to view and listen to stuff.

			Thanks, Tuc
