Yep, I'm experiencing this behaviour approx. since the "open link twice" 
bug was fixed.

I _think_ that before the fix, opening link was triggered by both 
button-down and button-up (therefore the link was opened twice) and 
after the fix it's triggered only by button-down. If that's the case, it 
should be changed to button-up.
