What theme are you using?  If you're using Classic, it will try and 
pick up certain user interface look and feel stuff from the operating 
system.  I've found this since switching to XP.  I use the Pinball 
theme and this made it look really ugly.

The workaround is to switch to Modern (restart Moz) and then switch 
back to whatever theme that you were using previously and that should 
fix it (if the theme was based on Modern, at least).
