Hi, I'm not sure if this first item is a Multizilla problem, but I think it might be a settings conflict between Multizilla and Mozilla settings. First my setup: Mozilla 1.4b (have 1.4GA but not using it regularly yet) Mozilla/5.0 (OS/2; U; Warp 4.5; en-US; rv:1.4b; MultiZilla v1.4.0.4A) Gecko/20030421 What happens is say I have slashdot open in tab #1. If I then click on a personal toolbar bookmark (or even a regular bookmark) for OSNews then it opens a new tab #2 for OSNews. But at the same time it also changes tab #1 to OSNews. So instead of having Slashdot on Tab #1 and OSNews on tab #2, I have 2 copies of the OSNews webpage. If I do the same thing but first open a blank tab #2 then it just loads OSNews in the blank tab #2. I have the settings to open a new tab for bookmarks and to use blabk tabs first. Is there another setting I'm overlooking, or is there a setting that is conflicting? The other weird thing might be related to Mozilla 1.4 for OS/2 but I don't remember it happening before I installed Multizilla. I can use a bookmark just fine from the personal toolbar and also from the sidebar. But if I try to open a bookmark on the main bookmark menu item it gives me an error that says "rdf is not a registered protocol". Is this just a Mozilla error? Why am I getting this error and what is the rdf protocol? How do I register it? And yes, I googled a bit and tried to wade though bug reports first. But it can be confusing! ;) A quick note, I actually got Multizilla installed in BeZilla 1.3 for BeOS. But I had multiple problems with BeZilla and they were magnified after the Multizilla install. I may have installed the wrong Multizilla version (same old symptoms like disappearing toolbars) or it may just not work well in BeOS. Mozilla ended up crashing so badly it corrupted my BeOS install and I'm going to have to do a reinstall to hopefully repair it. I don't think anything in Multizilla was responsible. I did find it interesting that it even got as far as it did in an untested op sys version. -- Davey Brain dsbrain@NOSPAM!neosplice.com or [email protected]!com "Conformity is the jailer of freedom and the enemy of growth" - John F.
